Recently I have had the bug to do more triathlons, especially another Ironman!

It’s been 9 years since my first full Ironman and many other distances. I am happy to be back in the water again and feeling the many feelings that come from beginning goals. Those are anticipation, fear, excitement, accomplishment and an overall feeling of satisfaction and pride.

I feel like a beginner again but also I am exactly where I need to be.

The Silver Springs Pool has many wonderful memories for me on hot summer days with my 3 kids who are all now young adults.

Time has it’s way of working in mysterious ways and for me I am finding I have more time for myself as my kids are moving on in their own lives so…. It just might be great timing for me to train again. This is a wonderful group and I am happy to be a part of it for these last few swims of the summer .
