ABOUT BÍOS
The name Bíos is one of the two words the ancient Greeks had for life - Zoé and Bíos. Bíos described the activities of life, while Zoé meant something more like organic life. We chose to recapture the original meaning of Bíos, as the name that describes what we are most interested in accomplishing as a sports club / team: living a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, at Bíos Triathlon Club we train together as a supportive community, for the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle. That's why we say we are training for life!

While attending the University of Colorado Boulder for my undergraduate degree, I raced for the CU Triathlon Team, and fell in love with tri. I've raced about a dozen Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons, duathlons, and aquathons over the last 7 years, including the 2018 and 2019 USA Collegiate National Championships and the 2022 XTERRA USA Championships. I have always enjoyed sharing my love for swimming with other athletes, and I'm excited to help our Bios athletes succeed in the water!
